She must have had poor sex experiences in her previous relationships and got sexual fufilment in this one. I totally agree with mayoress. The man satisfied her in ways she never got satisfaction. I know of some couples who are in the relationship because of the sex but it makes no sense at all. Everything was already said above, but I figured I would chip in with this: I don't think it's just all about sex. She might had been using this as an excuse to stay with him.
It felt way better than admitting she was afraid to be lonely.
